Bella Casa Countertops and Stone Residential Fabrication and Installation 3 Year Warranty
Bella Casa Countertops and Stone warrants to original owner that at its option will repair a countertop piece for any defect in fabrication or installation during the first three years from installation date. Defects during fabrication are determined by National Stone Institute, Dimension Stone Design Manual, VII.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by physical, chemical or other abuse, normal wear and tear, acts of nature, scratches or chips. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to understand all risks of selected material and to care for it properly. No other cost, expenses, materials, labor, damages or reimbursements associated with the damaged products are covered under this warranty. This warranty does not include plumbing, gas, electrical, tile, wallpaper, painted surface or trim cost incurred due to replacement of countertop or surface.
This warranty does not cover:
- Materials or services not paid for in full
- Damage caused by chemical, food, liquid stains, or physical abuse.
- Damage from improper care and maintenance. Some materials are inherently fragile to include ALL marble, most dolomites, soapstone, and many other natural stones, as well as some man made materials. Materials can and will etch, scratch, chip, or crack from use or negligent care. It is the homeowners responsibility to know and understand the risk and care of their selected material. Damage to the material may be repaired through a restoration company commissioned separately.
- Natural characteristics of stone, which may include: color variations, fissures, surface spots or blemishes, shapes or distribution of color pattern and natural irregularity
- Damage to installed material caused by house settlement, not leveled cabinets, improper or insufficient support or substrate
- Damage by fire, tornado, or any other act of nature, acts of vandalism or accident
- Product installed in any outdoor capacity or used as flooring material
- Products that have been moved from original installed location
- Seam or material fractures due to inadequate support
Bella Casa Countertops and Stone shall not be liable for either contract or tort for any loss of direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of the use or the inability to use the products covered by this warranty.
